Apocalyptic Capitalism

Apocalyptic Capitalism

So this is a picture that has been floating around in my head for the last couple of weeks.

As most of my friends will testify, I like to talk about the apocalypse. In particular the post apocalyptic scenarios that would unfold, as the deep panic sets into society that the world will never be the same, I like to think that I could put my heightened wits to the test, and fulfill my ultimate goal (in such a scenario), steal a 50 ft yacht and sail back to Australia, of course the toughest part would be getting out of London not the treacherous ocean voyage.

All these scenarios, usually begin with a dirty bomb, or germ/chemical warfare unleashed by terrorists upon us the naive masses of the world. Alas the last few months (past year) have shed far greater foes to society.

Of course I'm not going to jump into a political debate, but the definition of terrorism is fear, and I'm pretty sure that fear has been struck deep into the hearts of many a person as billions are wiped from their collective net worth, as companies shed their employees as willingly as a dirty pro sheds her clothes, and while the newspapers print more and more photographs of traders slumped in their chairs holding their heads contemplating suicide, we spiral deeper and deeper.

Once again thanks to Tom Prendergast for the loanage of the chem warfare mask, I know he to thinks about the end of the world, and I'll have it back to ya in a jiffy!
